Overview

The safari will take you to explore northern part of kenya, and Rift Valley side to explore incredible wildlife experience especially rare ones like reticulated giraffes and Grevy Zebra. The beautiful mountain scenery in mount Kenya. You will explore Aberdare National Park en route to Lake Naivasha before we crown it with the World famous Maasai Mara game reserve known in the whole world for its concentration of massive wildlife.

Day 1. Transfer from Nairobi-Samburu National Reserve

Pick up after early breakfast from your airport, hotel or guest house, drive to the rich agricultural area of Mount Kenya region via the famous Pineapple farm, cross the equator just before you arrive in Famous Nanyuki town for the mountain climbers. Lunch en-route to samburu and a short stop over in Nanyuki Nakumatt Shopping mall. After lunch transverse to Isiolo town via Ashers post to arrive in Samburu in the afternoon. Upon arrival check in the lodge and there after proceed for an afternoon game drive which will bring you to the elephant bedroom tower.

Day 2. Explore Samburu National Reserve

The whole day will be spent exploring this amazing game reserve, it gives you the refreshment of your mind as the park is not populated and not many people visits here, we have concentration of the Its home to the big five, Elephant, Lion, Rhino, Leopard, Buffalo, Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, Gravy Zebra, Besia Oryx, Endangered Wild Dogs as well as Pun cake Tortoise – Endangered. There are over 450 species of birds identified and aquatic species in the wetland areas including, vultures, kingfishers, marabous, bateleurs, guinea fowl, Somali ostriches and others. Day 3. Transfer from Samburu National Reserve-Mount Kenya National Park

After breakfast, proceed to snow caped Mount Kenya National Park and Check-in for lunch in Serena mountain Lodge. This Lodge offers an experience of refined elegance and luxury. All of the amenities you would expect from a fine establishment are all there. Fine dining, gracious hospitality and superb accommodations are sure to be highlights of the stay. You can have good time to learn about exercises for climbers for this expedition. The cool highlands that surround its base are well worth a visit. The forests are ideal for game viewing, and there are crystal clear mountain streams that abound with Trout.

Day 4. Mount Kenya-Aberdare National Park

Morning after breakfast shall be spent with an optional activities within the lodge, later set off and proceed to the Ark Aberdare national park, check-in for lunch. The outstanding lodge offers high altitude site for game viewing including animals that are rarely encountered elsewhere like giant fog, bush pig, tree hyrax, large spotted genet and elusive Bongo.
Aberdare is also known for large heard of elephants, Leopard and Male lions.

Day 5. Transfer from Aberdare National Park- Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, drive via Nyuhururu to Lake Nakuru National Park, arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, Later afternoon game drive around the lake. On the floor of the Great Rift Valley, surrounded by wooded and bushy grassland, lies the beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park. Visitors can enjoy the wide ecological diversity and varied habitats that range from Lake Nakuru itself to the surrounding escarpment and picturesque ridges. Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching, hiking, picnic and game drives.

Day 6. Lake Nakuru-Cresent Island(Lake Naivasha)

After Breakfast depart for Lake Naivasha. Lake Naivasha is a fresh lake fringed by thick papyrus with hippos lazing in the lake and Buffalo’s grazing on the shores. You can enjoy boat ride trips on the lake or nature walk on the crescent Island where you can spot zebras, wildebeest, and giraffes up close. You can also bird-watch at lake Naivasha because the lake is a paradise of birds like: African Fish Eagle, hummer cop, Pelicans, and 350 species of birds.

Day 7. Depart Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

Breakfast will be served at the Resort then depart for Masai Mara Game Reserve which is considered as Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve. The Masai Mara forms part of a huge Eco-system incorporating the Serengeti and a number of smaller reserves and is famed for being part of the route of the Great Wildebeest Migration which occurs in July through to mid-September every year. It is the home of the “big five” – lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant as well as cheetah, zebra, giraffe and vast herds of plains antelope and numerous other wildlife. You will arrive in time for lunch lodge followed by afternoon game drive.

Day 8. Discover Masai Mara

Today you will have full day to explore the expansive Masai Mara game reserve with a visit to the Mara river where you will see hippo and crocodile basking at the bank of the river and if you are visiting in July through mid-September then you might have a chance to witness the famous wild beast migration. You will also have a chance to explore the Mara triangle in such of animals that you might have missed in your previous game drive. Optional hot air balloon ride or visit to Masai Village at extra cost.

Day 9. Depart Masai Mara National Reserve-Nairobi

After breakfast you will proceed for game drive as you depart from famous Masai Mara on your way to Narok. Continue with your safari followed by a stopover at the Great Rift Valley for the panoramic view of the escarpment en route to Nairobi where you will be dropped off either at your hotel or airport for your onward journey connections.
